While many first-time generator buyers may be looking for
a bargain, experienced second-time buyers will always
look for the most rugged machine they can afford.
The Generac GP 5000 is the perfect low cost solution for
homeowners wanting to trade up from entry level
generators and tangled extension cords to a more
comfortable standard of "survival" living.
When the next ice storm or hurricane hits, what would you
rather be doing? Plugging and unplugging appliances in
and out of extension cords snaking through your home, or
start up your Generac GP5000, flip a few switches, and sit
back down to finish dinner?
With a GP5000, and a transfer switch to feed power
directly into your home, you'll have plenty of power to run
your Refrigerator/Freezer, Furnace,TV, Microwave, and
Lights all at the same time without ever having to bother
with messy extension cords again.
And if someone in your home depends on medical
equipment, a portable generator can provide much
needed power in an emergency.
If you've been thinking about upgrading your emergency
power system, or don't have one yet, the best time to do it
is before the next disaster strikes while the supply of
generators is still plentiful and prices are low.
Fortunately, it's not all disaster all the time. How about a
backyard wedding or barbeque? The GP 5000's 4 - 120
volt outlets provide all the power you need for festive light
strings, food warmers, and even a four piece garage band.
Contractors also appreciate Generac's reliability,
versatility, and ability to run multiple power tools at the
same time.
Even folks who live "off the grid" aren't immune to bad
weather and solar powered battery system breakdowns.
The GP5000 is readily adaptable to all power systems, on
or off the grid.
Did you know that Generac has been making portable
electric generators since 1959? As a matter of fact, they're
the ones who pioneered the idea in the first place. 50
years later, they are still manufacturing generators at their
Waukesha, Wisconsin factory.
Here's what some owners of the Generac GP5000 have to
say:
Customer Review Overall Rating: 5 / 5 Generac GP Portable Generator 389cc OHV, 6250 Watt, September 23, 2008 By Mike H. from Dickinson, TX
Hurricane Ike hit the Texas Gulf Coast on 09/12/2008. I went 7 days without electricity and this Generator kept us up and going with a cold refridgerator and lights! I ran it 24 hours a day without a single hicup! I highly recommend this generator to anyone who wants a reliable and affordable generator.
Thanks GENRAC!
